Our ideas are still way 'ahead of the curve' on many issues like: Budget's, Deficit's, Tax Reform, Immigration Reform, Infrastructure,
etc., but most were unfortunately not enacted when the Republicans had control of both the House and Senate for 2 years. It
turned out that Paul Ryan and Mitch McConnell were terrible. Now, however, many items we have proposed since 2007 now seem
to possibly have a chance of implementation under President Trump, the newly created Department of Government Efficiency along
with Speaker Mike Johnson and Majority Leader John Thune.
We remain committed to the positions we proposed from 2007-2008, although some have evolved slightly to be even more effective
when adopted.
We 'the Silent Majority', have continued to become increasingly tired of our national elected officials worrying more
about their own re-election and how they can 'line their own pockets' using our tax resources than about how to realistically
address our nation's issues, and, finally we have made proposals aimed at changing things. They must have support in the House
and Senate! True solutions are not easy and usually may not be popular initially, but some sacrifices and compromises will
be required by all, for the betterment of all.
We must push harder than ever to demand that President Donald Trump and the new 119th Congress, return the Federal Government
to its original purposes as stated in the preamble to the constitution. If that that doesn't happen, we believe that our country
will be in very dangerous territory moving forward. The key things we believe those original purposes as stated in the preamble
to the constitution are:
"We the People of the United States, in order to form a more perfect Union, establish Justice, insure domestic Tranquility,
provide for the common Defense, promote the general Welfare, and secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity,
do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America."
We must get the United States back to being more closely aligned to that of a government of federal issues, such as:
> Providing a military for a common national defense for all States
> Providing the resources for a very strong, all inclusive, national security program and the protection of our borders
> Providing the resources for maintaining a strong fiscal policy, with a reasonable national debt level, which results
in a robust economic and financial system for the country, creating a currency with which to work and assuring the US is treated
fairly on global trade issues
> Providing a 'court of last resort' in legal matters from any of the States and assuring it is non-political
> Assuming responsibility for and carrying out international relations and trade with other countries for the betterment
of the United States
> Providing a level playing field for everyone in our country legally, so the general welfare of the public can be
achieved if anyone wants to try!
Programs other than those above must be reconsidered and probably left to the individual States to accomplish. Unfortunately,
because so many of our citizens have grown to expect and rely on the small Social Security payments, for which they have contributed
to for many years, this would seem to be the exception to the above large 'Federal Issues' for which we should rely on our
nation's government. With such a partisan country now, I am afraid that all we will get is 'official' attacks on the constitution
and self-reliance our country was built on. We must push forward elimination of the most liberal, leftist policies ever seen
in a United States government and our elected officials must get back to work and change the course we have been on where
they get very little done. We'll see and hope for the best! We can't be a total welfare state as we are currently heading
towards.
I was trained as an Engineer, and part of our training and experience is to 'recognize an issue, develop a solution to
the issue, implement the solution, and evaluate if the solution is working', and do it in an iterative process designed to
keep making things better. Engineers are generally pragmatists, someone who is guided more by practical considerations than
Ideals!!! Those are the type of people we need leading our country!!!!! I believe that is what you will find proposed on this
site. Practical solutions focused on the ideals noted above, yet they probably will be unpopular solutions to the existing
politicians. If they focus on solutions and policies that could eliminate many of Americas current issues, they could pretty
quickly find and implement effective solutions if they just had the 'common sense' and inner strength to implement them.
We hope you'll find the proposals in our site stimulate your thoughts on how we can correct many of the current issues
facing our country. I have my thoughts and I'm sure many of you have your own thoughts as well. We look forward to hearing

for them to read, discuss, agree with or ridicule, and to think about where our country is headed. No one is going to agree
with everything, but I can promise you that the ideas presented here will work, whether you agree with them or not, and they
are superior to much of the 'bull' in recent legislation.
But, in any case, whether you join us or not, contact and bother your elected officials and tell them that you want something
done about the issues we have detailed here (or your own issues), and not just discuss the issues, we have had ENOUGH TALKING!
WE MUST DEMAND RESULTS or hold them accountable if they just choose to take the salary, and retirement benefits until they
can retire at our expense!
