Social Security and Medicare can easily be reenergized with a few tweaks:
> ALL wages will become subject to Social Security and Medicare payroll taxes being paid by both employee and employer
at the beginning of 2026.
> The age to collect 'Unreduced Social Security' (full retirement age, or FRA) will gradually increase from the current
67 years old for those born in 1960, to a maximum of 70 years old for anyone born in 1978 or later, by adding 2 months of
age to reach FRA for each year after those born in 1960.
> Other than the above, Social Security is not to touched for US citizens! If we can decide to spend Trillions on
unnecessary wars, and additional Trillions to bail out those individuals and companies that made poor lending, borrowing,
and/or investment decisions, the funds to keep the current promised benefits will be found
> The current Medicare system is not to be touched for US citizens! Obviously, fraud, abuse, etc. must be rooted out
and eliminated, but seniors (let's say 50 years or older) have counted on this medical coverage in their planning and should
not be touched
