The Republicans squandered majorities won in both houses after the 2016 election. In the 2018 elections, Paul Ryan and their ineptitude (and probably hate of the President) cost them the majority in the House and Senate. The Republicans should have gotten much more done while they had majorities in both Houses of Congress. Paul Ryan and Mitch McConnell actually sabotaged President Trumps agenda, no wall funding, and no changes to the immigration system, ever mounting deficits, etc. Unfortunately, our country has seen what type people the Democrats are electing like ex-bartender Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Ilhan Omar who married her brother to get in the US, anti-Semitic Rashida Tlaib and Ayanna Pressley ('The Squad'). They are the face and models for the 'new Democratic Party'. In the 2020 elections, somehow Joe Biden won and the US began falling apart with each of Joe's actions or inactions.

The total disregard for US immigration law with 2,000,000+/year illegal immigrants just walking across our border, not preparing for the obvious invasion of Ukraine by the Russians, Ukraine-Russia war, giving billions back to Iran, inflation not seen for several decades, disastrous abandonment of Afghanistan, with riots on many major university campuses going unfettered for political reasons, now trying to tell Israel how to protect itself and withholding aid to Israel while it is fighting for its existence.

So, with the US economy the worst it had been in 40 years, illegal immigration at the border has exploded since Biden reversed all of the effective policies put in place to significantly reduce it during his 4 years, now we have further troubles with North Korea and China, inflation was the highest since Jimmy Carter in the late 70s, and the US has given up the energy independence attained during President Trumps 1st administration.

But, we now have a second chance since President Trump was re-elected and the Republicans won both the House and Senate in 2024. The Republicans need to develop a better way to present policies. We must require voter proof of citizenship in a federal election! Stop the illegal immigration and eliminate "Birthright Citizenship" for anyone not born by a US citizen, regain energy dominance, put in place 'guard rails'; for how much money the government can spend each year, what level of debt is acceptable, etc.
