With the "Do 'Nothing Good' Congresses", unfortunately little Good got done in 2020, 2021 2022, 2023 or 2024. Not much, if any, rational legislation beneficial to US citizens was passed under Biden, and now, after the Republicans win the House, Senate and Presidency back in 2024, it is time to move forward rapidly. 4 years is not a lot of time to change the direction of our country in a positive way. And, don't tell me it can't be done.



The 26th amendment (granting the right to vote for 18 year-olds) took only 3 months & 8 days to be ratified! Why? Simple! 'We The People' demanded it. That was in 1971...well before computers, before e-mail, before cell phones, etc.



Of the 27 amendments to the Constitution, 7 took 1 year or less to become the law of the land...all because of public pressure. We propose that 3 Amendments shown on the next 3 index tabs to the left, be proposed the day the next President is inaugurated. Drafts of those Amendments are shown on the next three Index tabs to the left.



Our proposed changes for 2018, 2020, 2022, 2023 and 2024 didn't get anywhere, but, hopefully the Republican Congress and President will get behind the following. And, if they don't the President should establish "Convention of States" committee to get them through and implemented.


Congressional Reform Act of 2025



1. Term Limits



Serving in Congress is an honor, not a career. The Founding Fathers envisioned citizen legislators, so ours should serve their term(s), then go home and back to work.



Maximums of:



A. Two 6-year Senate terms



B. Four 2-year House terms



C. Vice President and/or President for up to 2 terms each



That still totals over a possible 20+ years in Congress; that is enough!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!



2. No Tenure / No Pension.



Representatives and Senators would collect a salary while in office and receive no pay once they are out of office. This law will prescribe a 401-K program for them.



3. Congress (past, present, & future) participates in Social Security like everyone else.



All funds in the Congressional retirement fund move to the Social Security system immediately. All future funds flow into the Social Security system immediately, and Congress participates with the American people in the Social Security system.



4. Congress can no longer vote themselves a pay raise, as pay will rise by the lower of the previous year CPI or 3%.



5. Congress' current health care system is eliminated and they will use private insurance or the Affordable Care Act insurance or whatever replaces it.



6. All congressional members and their staffs, any one officially working in the White House, all Cabinet members and their staffs, and firms that employ any of the aforementioned will be made illegal for 4 years after they leave service in one of the aforementioned restricted positions noted above.



The American people did not make these contracts with Congressional members, White House, or their staff or Cabinet members, and yet they continue to feed at the trough of our money! Congress made all these contracts for themselves and their friends and this can no longer be allowed - by law until at least 4 years after serving!!!!!!!!!





Fiscal Responsibility Act of 2025



We must pass a Fiscal Responsibility Amendment to the Constitution whereby; the US can spend no more than 19% of the country's previous year GDP annually. And, the TOTAL GROSS national debt (not just the privately held national debt) must be reduced to below 70% of the nation's prior year GDP and thereafter maintained below 70% of the nation's prior years GDP! Both of these must be accomplished within 8 years unless the US is involved in a Congressionally declared war at the time.





Birthright Citizenship Act of 2025



We need to pass a Constitutional Amendment to address the current 14th Amendment interpretation once and for all. To become a US citizen at birth, one parent must be a US citizen!!!!





Election Security Act of 2025



We need to address the voting issues that were blatantly obvious in the 2020 election once and for all. To vote in an election for a national office holder, the voter must present a US passport and show up in person to vote. Military and overseas State Department employees may vote 'in the field' in monitored ballot stations, and ballots will be mailed in to the Justice Department and held, sorted and counted there.





The Identification and Nationality Verification Act of 2025



Everyone in the US must have a Passport (or a US issued Passport Card)!!!! Details of the Program are simple and can be implanted by Executive Order if Congress won't pass it. Details of the Program are on the index to the left ...





Audit of "Deep State" agency imposed 'regulations' not Specifically enacted or approved by Congress



Over the last 60 years or so, US government agencies have repeatedly, and increasingly, imposed new 'laws' they had no right to impose or enforce since they were not specifically approved by Congress. These agencies have been emboldened, without any supervisory restraint, to seemingly impose anything on the US citizens or companies they wish based on their 'interpretation' of what Congressional statutes mean. These 'regulations' cost US citizens and US companies many billion of dollars each year. There needs to be an independent review of every 'regulation' imposed by every government agency since 1964 for its legality.



I am sure we can't get congress to propose some or any of these proposals, and our chance of a Constitutional Convention of the States is unlikely with current makeup of the state houses and governorships. TV personalities, Radio personalities, entertainment stars, sports stars, talk show personalities, the common citizens like you and me, have to raise hell to get at least 34 states to call the Convention. After we get that, we'll work on getting the 38 states needed to pass the Amendments and Legal Acts proposed!!!!
